Studley Park Boat house has been serving Melbourne residents for over 160 years. Taking on this refurbishment has been exciting as there are many aspects of Studley park that make it a unique venue. From its history to capacity, it was a task that Mariljohn was excited to take on. As a venue that can prepare between 1200 and 2000 meals a day Mariljohn had to design with this in mind to make sure Studley Park will be able to operate smoothly for the next 160 years.
Figlia
Figlia blends modern design with inviting charm. Featuring a spacious horseshoe bar, industrial touches, and seating for 80, this restaurant excels in both scale and style. The design reflects its culinary ethos: relaxed yet refined. Clean lines and understated, high-quality furnishings create a sophisticated ambience, while the open kitchen fosters a warm connection between diners, chefs, and staff. Mariljohn understands Figlia’s design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about crafting an experience where comfort and community come together seamlessly.
Anglers Tavern
The newly refurbished Anglers Tavern, a cherished Melbourne landmark nestled alongside the picturesque Maribyrnong River. Recently revitalized by Mariljohn with design and construct to make it better than ever. Mariljohn realizes this is more than just a pub; it’s a community hub and has taken this into consideration when designing for this iconic Melbourne establishment.
